Mr. Tang qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1990 and has practiced in England for 7 years. He is now one of the managing partners in P. C. Woo & Co Solicitors in Hong Kong specializing in dispute resolution and litigation. Mr. Tang is an accredited mediator with Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, Law Society of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited. He is also head of the intellectual property department leading his team in advising clients on protection, enforcement and commercialization of their intellectual property rights.
Mr. Tang is a member of the Appeal Tribunal of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers, Honorary Legal Advisor to the General Agents and Managers Association of Hong Kong, Honorary Senior Legal Adviser to the Hong Kong Brands Protection Alliance, Founding Member and Honorary Legal Counsel of Hong Kong-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Foundation, member of the Standing Committee on Standards and Development of the Law Society of Hong Kong and member of the Editorial Board of Lexis Practical Guidance. Mr. Tang has taught Intellectual Property law in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and was a Part Time lecturer in Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education and a former member of the Basic law Promotion Steering Committee.
